A self-written story based on my development as a designer. Visualized through a combination of film and stop-motion. 

"A dark familiar environment. It's scary to step out of it but sometimes the best. A new challenge, an environment that dares to be itself. But you, you don't have the guts. Something from the past keeps gnawing at you. There is no room for new discovery. Your outside world tries to help you but still you will have to do it yourself. You will have to go back to the past. To leave it there and create space for new discoveries. Finally you can really work on yourself. Creating your own identity. So that afterwards you can continue to build on the world as yourself, the designer."

This abstract visualization can be interpreted by anyone in their own way. No matter what you are leaving behind. You will always move forward again. But you will still have to do it yourself.
